The MBO class has asked Ryan Leach to send some new and exciting Premiere videos for all to enjoy. Thus, a Movie Night will be taking place at Eric Cardinal Hall which is located at 930 Chamberlin Rd, Gibsons B.C. The doors are open at 6:00 pm and should be wrapping up at a reasonable hour - everyone will want to be rested for the big day on Sunday April 19th.
Sunday is going to be a BIG day, beginning at 10:00 am. The MBOs are going to show off their successful school year by unveiling their NEW TRAIL to Sprockids Park. Once the event is underway, the MBOs are going to showcase their experience by taking riders of all skill levels on Guided Rides. To finish off the day, there is going to be a Jump Jam and BBQ. The day will be ending at 3:00 pm. A new 2009 Brodie Cretin frame for one lucky guest is being Donated by Off The Edge Adventure Sports for the Second year.
Alright. Hold on. So there is this awesome event happening the weekend of April 18th and 19th and I don't know what I should bring! Everyone is asked to bring appropriate clothing for the weather. As well as helmets and bikes.
If your bike is in disrepair and needs some love - no worries: The guys at Off The Edge are going to be there for the second year and are going to bring their tools and great attitudes. Joining Off The Edge Adventure Sports is Specialized, and Scott USA with their 2009 Demo Fleets. As well, Norco will be joining for the third year and there are going to be some cool demos. Soaring over to Sprockids from their intergalactic headquarters, is Brodie Bikes with some of the cool new 2009 bikes.
This will be a fun-filled weekend and everyone is welcome to come. If there are any questions, you can reach Off The Edge Adventure Sports at 604 741 0767 or by e-mail at info@offtheedge.org

It is an exciting time of year. With the cycling season now just weeks away, there are already events being unveiled. Among An entire weekend of awesome is scheduled for April 18th and 19th. For a third year, the Capilano University Mountain Bike Operations Program (MBO) and Off The Edge Adventure Sports are hosting an event at Sprockids Park in Gibsons B.C. that will welcome a fresh 2009: "Roam The Loam Sunshine Coast Bike Festival."
To stoke the fire and shift everyone out of their granny gears, a trail building session begins on April 18th. The trail building session will start at 9:30 am at Sprockids Park (which is located North of Gibsons on Stewart Rd (off of Highway 101)). This session will wrap up at 12:30 pm. This will allow all volunteers a chance to get cleaned up and ready for the evening. Friends
